'Lake of Dreams' Lake Of Dreams – A Vision Beyond Sound Created by Karina Sher | Released under Ragebreed Records Lake Of Dreams is more than a concept musical fantasy project—it’s a cinematic journey of emotion, soul, and inner transformation. Founded by Karina Sher, the renowned British-Indian artist behind Ragebreed Records and frontwoman of metal band Mindlapse, Lake Of Dreams is her deeply personal, acoustic-driven side project that transcends genres and mediums. With themes of healing, trauma, love, death, and rebirth, it taps into the vulnerable parts of the human experience—where pain meets purpose, and sound becomes story. The debut EP is available now via Ragebreed’s Big Cartel and digital platforms. New music is currently in development, with the release of single “Hold Me”, part of the upcoming full-length album set for 2025 released through Ragebreed Records and distributed by Earache Worldwide Digital Distribution. The Film Project: Currently in development, Lake Of Dreams is being adapted into a feature-length film, written by Karina Sher herself. This cinematic piece will weave music, spoken word, dreamlike visuals, and symbolic storytelling into a spiritual odyssey of self-discovery, mental health, survival, and resurrection. The script is currently being written. The fantasy project is about a druidess that falls in love with a soldier that is meant to kill her kind only they meet in a lake so they assume they both are safe until the truth is revealed. A forbidden romance, truth that challenges logic and heart, will love overcome? The druidess needs answers and seeks out a Sage to give her advice. There are three outcomes, she must choose. If they get together now, if they separate or if she learns to defend herself against evil. In the meantime the soldier faces temptation but will she choose his druidess who he loves or decide to cheat with the King's daughter and continue the life he had before? The people he trusts are they trustworthy? A film full of magic, love, danger, horror, chaos, temptation, loss, grief, war, passion, fantasy and healing.
